HJCKD.AM roster updates

Pleased to welcome our latest additions to the HJCKD.AM roster: Big Strick and Generation Next!

The father/son duo has finally brought their team-up to the DJ booth Inspired by contemporary hip-hop and RnB as much as they are by the music of family friends Amp Fiddler, Kenny Dixon Jr and OB Ignitt, they both enjoyed a musical upbringing like few others in modern-day techno making the stage set for pure deepness only products of Detroit can bring!!!


Generation Next is a prodigious talent since his early teens, his production career began in earnest when he first picked up his father’s MC808. The two have fostered a unique musical relationship ever since, with Tre ultimately working as sound engineer across much of their label, 7 Days Ent’s discography. In 2012, he released his first solo EP on 7 Days courtesy of a self-titled release that featured some of the label’s finest moments to date. Picked up by numerous DJs and in-the-know house heads, tracks such as “October Oasis” and “Lamborghini Dreams” emphatically reminded listeners of a producer on the rise.


Big Strick Born in the 70s at the peak of Motown Records, Big Strick was heavily influenced by the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, 4 Tops and a host of other extraordinary acts that blessed Detroit with great soulful music. As a youth, Big Strick started taking to another unique Detroit sound, P-FUNK (PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC).

He released multiple underground anthems on FXHE(Omar S Label) in 2009, Big Strick started his own label 7Days ENT in 2011. New CD featuring Omar S, Generation Next and the return of the legend RECKLESS RON COOK!! making the stage set for pure deepness only products of Detroit can bring!!!

They can be booked individually or together as a “Family Affair” performance.
