Ellery Cowles was discovered by Montana Productions and The Chicago Bad Boys in the mid 1980’s.
This lead to Ellery playing larger parties. Ellery’s commercial debut was at the Toy Box with Lil Louis in
1990. After this party he was in high demand and started to work with renowned names of Chicago
house music scene such as “Farley “Jackmaster” Funk”,” Steve Poindexter”, “Terry Hunter”,”Roy Davis
Jr.”,”Gene Hunt” and many more.
With this new exposure many promoters contacted Ellery to play some of the larger Raves in the
midwest region. Ellery played Venues such as “Metro” and “Shelter” with “Felix Da Housecat”. He was
beginning to move with the more known House Music DJ’s of Chicago and proved that he could hold his
Next, he knew he had to step his game up. So, he went into studio and learned how to create his own
sound. He began producing songs and touring with “Steve Poindexter(Chicago Bad Boys)” and “DJ Skull
(DJax Record)” .
Now touring all over the world, Ellery became a International DJ. Ellery held a residency at “Club Rehab”
in Vancouver, Canada and became known worldwide!
Once Ellery came back from touring he focused his attention on the production of his sound and honing
his skills in the studio.
The current focus is to release good quality music! Ellery is now working on a new EP that will drop by
the end of the year on the new Gladiator label!
